Can you handle that?!
Silly NFL Fans

So here in San Diego people are all pumped up about the Chargers playing the Patriots. Words are going back and forth, radio stations are making songs (Lean Like a Charger and the shitty 16-0) and everyone is just talking a mad amount of shit.
A lot of people are mad that the Chargers recently beat the Colts. Some are saying that the Colts and Patriots have the “greatest rivalry in history” among other things. Really? Are they serious? Five years ago, did anyone give a shit about the Patriots? No. It seems like everyone on the Pats’ side of the argument is conveniently forgetting the fact that New England has churned out some of the most notorious losers in the history of the sports world. While it’s true that San Diego has never won a Super Bowl, they have put in a lot of work in the past few years (even going 14-2 last year) and I think they should get another shot at the Super Bowl.
Sure is fun to watch, though. I hope the Chargers stomp the shit out of the Patriots.

although i love college football, it’s wacky BCS system does not reward teams like Georgia and USC that are clearly the dominant teams at the moment. It chooses to select teams like LSU who haven’t played anything close to resmembling a complete game in over 2 months.
However you have to be actually good to advance in the NFL playoffs. It’s not like the Chargers are getting credit for a blowout win over Virginia Tech back in September. They earned their spot against the Patriots by beating Indianopolis head-to-head. At their place. This past weekend. What more do people want??
