Exercise Regimine

Now that I’ve finished up school and I have some more free time in my days after work, I have decided that I am going to get back into shape. Right now I’m sitting at about 5′10″, 180lbs and I feel most comfortable around 160 - so that’s what I’m shooting for.

Monday / Wednesday / Friday I’m going to be doing what’s called High Intensity Interval Training - it is a running plan that consists of a warm up, 30 seconds of sprinting, 1 minute of walking. Rinse and repeat for 20 minutes, followed by a cool down. I am going to supplement the H.I.I.T. workout with some weight training which is supposed to keep your metabolism at a heightened rate for up to 24 hours.

Hopefully I will be able to hit my target (healthily) after a couple months. I could try and force it by really cutting down on food but that’s more dangerous than anything and it’s not that important to lose it quickly. Better safe than sorry!
