Thanks to Alex, I’ve been listening to a lot of music I never knew about. Mostly hip-hop and mostly international. Australian and Canadian, to be specific. Coming from Australia, we have The Horrorshow, a couple kids that are only 20 years old but I imagine are well on their way to making money doing what they’re good at. Out of Canada, I’ve been listening to Classified.
Give them a listen.

Last Friday, May 30th, I put in my two-week resignation notice at my current employer, Einstein Industries. I feel that it’s time for me to move on from the company, and I’m finding a lot of support around every corner. After about 15 months, I’ve started to feel like my skills were getting a bit stale and that’s not something I want to feel at my age. Obviously, I couldn’t leave without another job planned to replace it. With that, I started talking to Alex Hackbart and Joey Dehert, who I’ve mentioned on multiple occasions. After a while, we all finally decided to start a new business together. I’m not going to give a name yet, because the paperwork is still going through all the legal channels, but we’re all very excited.
We’ve got some clients lined up already and we’re already working on things. Right now, our business site is in the works and I’m personally working on a new version of JonDewitt.net (which will incorporate this blog). Hopefully, the next time I post here it’ll be a whole new look!

I came across something on the internets today that I thought was pretty neat. Basically you take a picture of yourself from straight on, then you open up the picture in a photo editing program. Copy each half of your face, flip them and move them to the other side - creating two separate pictures of your face - one mirroring the right and one for the left. Which side do you like better? It’s kind of weird when you realize how difference each side of your face is. My left eyebrow is a lot lighter than my right, but other than that I think the differences are relatively slight from other results I’ve seen. You can check it out on my friend’s Joey, Adam and Bennie’s sites.
